Our story…

Sweet Cravings by Shar consist with family of bakers. It has always been their passion to bake and create something special and delicious. With Shar’s fine eye in art that her every endeavor comes to life, together with her husband they’ve established baking as a hobby way back in 2012 at their first owned home in San Diego. Her husband’s background where he grew up living a bakery life working with two of his uncle’s bakery businesses becomes a foundation. As Shar worked at San Diego Culinary Institute, it exposes her to pastry creation and gained interest to bring her artistry to the next level. A home baked business was established from then on. That hobby where it all started turns into passion and now an income generating obsession. A fortunate event happened as though determined by fate, they’ve made their best decision and move to Florida last 2017. Together with their little family of four, they packed themselves and travelled to Florida while they continue what they love doing which is baking. As opportunities unfold and demand increases because of great support from their second found home community here in Saint Augustine, they are destined and dedicated to serve their ever-growing valued customer base and ready to make history from their humble beginning.

Our Inspirations…

Seanna is our aspiring Michelin Chef someday who wanted to create something unique in terms of dessert offerings and loves to experiment. Her interest to draw her pastry creations and bake them excites her. Showing an early dedication to deliver a product to the best of her ability brings out the best in her to hone down her skills and develop into something special which can lead to achieving her dream.

Joshuel is our business minded boy who always thinks outside the box. His resilient personality shows that with his young mind he’s determined to see a better picture overall and can oversee beyond any challenges. With perseverance his goal is to achieve little successes in his own ways and always think of solutions that leads to a positive outcome.

As parents, we wanted to be a good role model to our little investor partners and continue to inspire them achieve their goals and guide them through the path of where they want to go. With our little Pastry Chef and a little Businessman in training, all together as a family we will make a thriving vision to establish our dreams, enjoy this exciting journey, bring back to our community and be an inspiration to future generations. After all, we are one family at Sweet Cravings by Shar serving for the greater good with the help of God’s blessings and graces.
